A-line skirts are my favourite shape to wear at the moment. Cinching in at the waist, they flare subtly outwards, they’re structural form creating such a complementary silhouette. They’re so versatile too, totally easy for transitioning from day to evening wear.
I love the softness of the pale blue within this skirt, how it’s calmness gives in to the striking tile print, allowing the intricacy of the repeated geometric shapes to be the dominate characteristic of the skirt. I opted for teaming this skirt with a violet crop top, harmonising lightly and complementing the blue in the skirt. I also liked how the scallops at the hem of the top softened the skirt’s frequent use of the angular shapes throughout.
