Spring Wishlist – Best of the Petite

Shopping for clothes can be a hurdle to jump when you’re on the petite side. Of course, most things are too long, but clothes can look swampy and bulky as well. I love how more and more brands are showing awareness for different body types, and the petite fit is becoming more and more popular for them to stock. With spring finally here, I can’t wait for lighter evenings and t-shirt weather once again, so here’s what I’m lusting over from the petite collections.

Camel Duster Jacket – Miss Selfridge
Broderie Bardot Top – Miss Selfridge
Animal Print Slip Dress – Topshop
Denim Pocket Skirt – Topshop
Mink Sateen Bomber Jacket – New Look
Bleach Wash Denim Pinafore Dress – New Look

Floral Peplum Cami – New Look

Denim and pink complexions are proving to be two major trends for SS16, and they just complement each other so well. I can really imagine layering this cool pink bomber over the denim pinafore dress, with the cute off-the-shoulder white tee underneath. I recently bought a darker denim pinafore and I absolutely love trying out different tops and tees to wear underneath (outfit post soon) and how gorgeous would this one be for spring when (okay, if) the weather’s warmer?

It wouldn’t be a true spring wishlist without florals, and this dainty peplum cami suits perfectly. The loose peplum looks casual and comfortable and how lovely would it be paired with a denim a-line skirt? Lightweight dusters couldn’t be better for layering when the air’s still cool, and this one from Miss Selfridge would be so easy to style in such a neutral colour. I absolutely love wearing casual  dresses at the moment and this slip one would team so nicely with a white sweater or this New Look bomber.

Where’s your favourite for petite shopping? What will you be wearing for Spring?
